This soap is specifically formulated to cleanse acne prone and oily skin but can be used by anyone. It contains Atlantic Kelp, a seaweed that only grows in cold North Atlantic waters. It is a rich source of vitamins (including B12 which is not found in land plants), vitamin E, fatty acids, minerals, trace elements and other nutrients. It’s an effective cleansing and exfoliating agent that removes impurities like dirt and oil while imparting many benefits to the skin. Helps alleviate skin chapping, cracking, roughness and loss of moisture. We also added mineral rich sea salt, a natural humectant that draws moisture to skin helping it to be very soft without feeling greasy. Salt also gently exfoliates, cleanses and helps eliminate odour. Diatomaceous earth is tiny fossils of aquatic algae. It’s a great manual exfoliator, smooths and softens skin, and is very rich in silica. This soap is a wonderful cleanser for acne-prone skin, as it removes oil and dead cells. A powerful but gentle skin cleanser that is suitable for all skin types.
