In the 16th century, pirates and sailors would steep West Indies bay leaves in a molasses-based spiced rum and use the resulting ‘cologne’ to freshen up after being stuck on a ship for months. This spicy mixture was the inspiration for the Bay Rum scent. Our soap contains both bay and cinnamon leaf essential oils which help kill odour causing bacteria, are deeply cleansing astringents, and rich in antioxidants. Apricot powder offers a rejuvenating exfoliation and our moisturizing oils calm dry, angry skin.
 
Scent Description: An aromatic blend of exotic Caribbean spices, Jamaican rum and bay leaf oil. It is distinctly sweet and spicy, featuring warm, woody notes. Uniquely masculine and robust, but won't overwhelm the senses.
 
Visual Description: A bright yellow bar flecked with red-brown specks throughout with a wavy top.
 
Soaps are cut by hand; bars are approx. 130 g each.
Packaging is proudly plastic free.
